Must be age 25 or older

Non-traditional students can also petition for an exception based on their unique circumstances. Exceptions are also available for the Nursing, RN to BSN program.

Must have earned 24 hours of undergraduate academic credit

Credit must be from an accredited program at a college or trade school. Life Experience Credit credit cannot be counted toward this admission requirement.

Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 for previously completed college courses

Unless otherwise specified for the major.

International Student Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen or a legal permanent resident.
International students are welcome to apply and complete the programs from their home country.
The ADC program does not qualify students for an F1 student visa. However, international students are welcome in Southern's traditional undergraduate program.
